At mxD20 Studio, our core philosophy is simple: we believe in absolute data sovereignty. Your device is your own, and the data you create on it belongs entirely to you. We build tools to solve everyday problems, not to harvest your personal information.

The Short Version

• We do not run servers.

• We do not require you to create an account.

• We do not collect, transmit, share, or sell your personal data.

What We Collect (Nothing)

mxD20 Studio does not collect any personal data. All content you create within mxDraft—including your workflow templates, logical branching, Global Variables, and Saved Lists—stays strictly on your device and within your private Apple ecosystem.

When you run a workflow, mxDraft simply compiles the text and opens your native iOS Mail or Messages app. We do not transmit the messages ourselves, and we never have access to the contents of the messages you draft.

iCloud Sync & Backups
mxDraft features seamless sync to keep your workflows and variables updated across your devices. This synchronization is handled entirely through your personal, private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure.

• We (mxD20 Studio) have absolutely zero access to this database.

• It is secured by Apple and counts against your personal iCloud storage quota.

• If your device is configured to use standard iCloud device backups, an encrypted copy of your app data may also be included in those backups. This is entirely controlled by your iOS settings.

 
Third-Party Services & Tracking
Our apps are completely free of the noise. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or behavior trackers.

If you have opted in at the iOS level to share diagnostics with developers, Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated crash logs. These logs contain zero personally identifying information and are used strictly to fix bugs and improve app stability.

 
Data Retention & Deletion
Because your data lives solely on your device and in your private iCloud, you dictate its lifespan. You have complete control over your data directly within the app:

• You can delete individual global variables, contact groups, and workflow templates at any time.

• You can instantly wipe all mxDraft data from both your device and iCloud using the "Slide to Erase Workspace" safety switch in the App Settings.

• You can permanently remove all associated app data simply by deleting the app from your device.

(Note: Backups you control, such as full iOS device backups, may retain encrypted copies of your data until those backups are overwritten or manually deleted by you.)

Security
We rely entirely on Apple's robust iOS security features and local device protections. Because we do not transmit your data to external servers, there is no server-side database for us to secure—or for bad actors to breach.​

Children’s Privacy
mxDraft is a general-audience productivity tool and does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

International Users & Privacy Rights
Because we do not collect or store your data off-device, there is no central database from which to request data access, correction, or deletion. You can exercise all of these privacy rights directly on your own device at any time.

Changes to This Policy
If our stance on data sovereignty ever changes (it won't), or if we add new features that require a material update to this policy, we will update this page and revise the "Last Updated" date above.
